Bernhard Langer has done it again! At age 64, GST endorsed professional golfer Bernhard Langer won the Schwab Cup, a season-long golf championship. By his final-round 69 and solo 17th-place finish, Langer clinched the season-long Charles Schwab Cup points race for a record sixth time.
Langer came into the week leading the points, fell behind to Jim Furyk after the second and third rounds but reclaimed the top spot Sunday. Langer competed in all 39 events during the Champions tour’s “super” season, which combined the 2020 and 2021 campaigns. Langer claims a $1 million prize to be paid out in an annuity for winning the points.
“Bernhard’s win marks a spot in history for both golfing and Global Syn-Turf. As a proud endorser of Bernhard, we take pride in making our best effort to push the synthetic turf industry forward just like Bernhard has done so for golf,” - said Shannon Beck, Vice President of Global Syn-Turf.
Bernhard Langer’s hard work ethic and dedication to golf have truly paid off the past few years as he comes out on top in the Schwab Cup for a record sixth time.
