Can I use this specific type of sand?

You will not use sand as a base for artificial grass installations. Sand is not solid enough to serve a good purpose for artificial turf. We always recommend to use couple inches of drain rock and couple of inches of finer materials such as decomposed granite to quarter minus which to be compacted and solid to provide a smooth surface for artificial grass to be laid on. Brad Paup Sand also is not stable. It may make your artificial grass wavy. |
Irma Nowacki Not sure if some installers are still using sharp sand for sub base |
