The difference is in specs. Super Natural 60 has a shorte pile height of 1.77 inches compared to 1.97 inches for Super Natural 80. It's also less dense - 60 ounces per square yard. Super Natural 80 naturally has 80 ounces in face weight. Otherwise, the quality, colors, blades, and other characteristic are the same. You can ask our installers to bring samples so that you can feel and see a difference for yourself.

Samuel, there is no reason to worry about the toxicity of artificial grass. All synthetic turf products by Global Syn-Turf are tested by independent laboratories on lead content. You can find certificates of analysis and Manufacturing Material Safety Datasheets here:
MSDS contains a clause about Hazardous Ingredients:
"This product" is considered to be a non-hazardous chemical under the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration Hazard Communication Standard 29CFR1910.1200.
The latest concern was raised by the use of rubber infill, that was made from recycled tires, and experts are worried about health implications for children.
The rubber infill has nothing to do with artificial grass. There are tons of natural, organic infill options you can use for artificial grass installation. In fact, Global Syn-Turf never promoted or sold rubber infill. We always recommend natural infills for residential and commercial projects.
To add a safety cushion for kids, your clients may want to use lawn pads or shock pads underneath the turf.

Without infill, the average rating for both products are at about 9 ft. However, we always require 2 pounds of sand infill when installing the putting greens: the average readings on both products with infills is 12-14 ft.

Yes, we have our turf independent tested and passes all nine levels for fire retardant. We have test sheets available from the office staff. Our turf is installed at former Angels manager Mike Scioscia house, and it had melted but turf helped stop the house from going up.

The prime benefit is no maintenance. You don't need to mow, water, fertilize, control weeds, or re-seed artificial lawn. It always looks beautiful. For the arid west, conserving water can be the number one motivation for installing synthetic turf. For pet owners, having clean, dry outdoor space is a treat. For parents, safe, cushioned, chemical-free environment for kids is the priority.

I believe so. For 1,000 square feet of natural grass lawn, you spend approximately $19,500 in 10 years period; $2,000 in installation costs, and $1,700 in annual maintenance (watering, mowing, sprinkler repairs, re-seeding, fertilizing, weed control, etc.) It may cost you $4,000-$6,000 dollars to install 1,000 sq. ft. of synthetic grass, but there are no upkeep expenses.

100% lead-free artificial grass is safe. No research has shown any health risks. It's made of the thermoplastic, low-density polyethylene (LDPE). PE is widely used in the food industry. LDPE is a very flexible material with unique properties that make it suitable for synthetic turf, floor tiles, furniture, paneling, cans, bins, outdoor lumber.
