How much turf glue do I need to apply? Do I apply it on the turf or on the area the turf is going to be laid on?

You will probably only need the turf glues when seaming two pieces of artificial grass together for most common installations. Our turf glue comes in with 3 different packages: 28 oz tube, 1 gallon and 5 gallon buckets. For seaming purpose, a tube of turf glue will be able to cover a seam up to 12’ long, and one gallon glue can cover up to 40’ long of seams.

If you are installing the artificial grass on a solid surface such as concrete permanently, you will need the turf glue as well. A gallon of glue will cover an area of 40-50 square feet.

In either case, at the installation, you will put the glue onto the seaming tape or the solid surface instead of onto the turf.
